This will be followed by Sacred Site Activation journeys to Adams Calendar, a mysterious ancient stone circle in Mpumalanga, South Africa, believed by some to be the oldest man-made structure on Earth, potentially over 75,000 years old, functioning as a megalithic calendar aligned with celestial bodies, often called "Africa's Stonehenge" and a significant site for ancient African knowledge keepers.
This deeply potent, soul activating land is to support you to activate your soul's remembrance, and have the opportunity to connect with essence of the fire horse, As Kaapsehoop is one of the few place in Southern Africa, where wild horses roam freely.

The Quest
Do you remember the first time you went to college, pursued your career or created a new life with your beloved. Times were different then and it often began with so much optimism. There was something in your life that perhaps gave you a deep sense of purpose or meaning, but as life continued, you may have become increasingly uneasy and dissatisfied by the false promises that this life has sold you, causing you to loose that spark and that fire.
You may have started to think, what have I lost along the way? What have I forgotten about myself? Perhaps you have forgotten your purpose, your song, your soul’s yearning.
You may grieve over the inexplicable choices that you have made, As we move through life, we are so heavily shaped by the events that take place that we begin to lose our confidence, our strength and forget the deep truths about ourselves.
When we become aware of the maze thats got us caught in a deeply unsatisfying and confusing loop. We know that there is more to life than what the maze is implying and it may be time for us to enter the Nemeton. The Sacred place of invocation, ceremony, and creation to call on a vision and clarify our purpose.

As Marrissa Nodes had previously shared, “You don’t go on a vision quest to get what you want, but instead you are able to shed what you no longer are, To meet your soul in its rawest, most unmasked form. To be emptied so that true vision can find you.”
This is why in the month of November, I have opened up a Medicine Space to go on a vision quest. In this vision quest, You will be supported to consciously enter the womb of Mother Earth through 3 tobaccos and the medicine of Mescalito.
What is Mescalito?
Mescalito otherwise know as Wachuma is a sacred plant found in the Peruvian Andes capable of inducing altered states of consciousness. Wachuma is considered to be a wisdom keeper and sacred healer of the mind body and soul. When we have forgotten the song of our soul, we may feel stuck, confused or may be seeking more depth and meaning in our lives.
Plant medicine supports us to engage with the shadow self and unravel the energetic imprints that have created negative patterns in our lives that prevent us from truly seeing ourselves & deeply connecting with the deepest parts of our soul.
The Power of the Mountains & Rivers
Water is essential to a woman's well being and our connection to water is ancient and sacred. The intelligence of water connects us to our soul gifts, receptivity to love, abundance, flow & our emotional being.
All of humanity is birthed through water and once we leave the inner waters of our mother, we must continue to nurture our relationship with our inner and outer waters through our emotional intelligence. Our inner waters are sensitive to our emotions and healing our inner waters purify our toxic emotions can aid our bodies in creating flow, restoring nourishment & wellbeing and sustaining vibrant health

We will work through a 3 day labrynth with 3 tobaccos working with the alchemy of 3 powerful animals spirit totems, feeling the beat of the drum amidst the womb of the mother, been woken up and activating the memories of your primordial consciousness and sacred contract. Surrendering to the Earth’s heart beat and Wilderness of your soul to support you to remember your sacred Contract.
Medicine of the Serpent
The medicine of the serpent supports us to explore the split between the true self and the conditioned self. On this day we support to you see past the part of you that is conditioned by your upbringing, society, education and the influence of the collective while weaving you back to the part of you that is the soul, the cosmos, that holds your original blue print.
Everyone on this planet has a sacred contract, we all hold something unique that no one else can share, but us. Serpent is the opportunity to peel away the false layers of self so that you can uncover the deep hidden truths about yourself that you have forgotten.
The First Tobacco
We enter this Nemeton with the first tobacco, Wachuma to sit in silence in one of the most ancient & sacred landscapes in South Africa, surrounded by the stone circles, the creatures who reside there to learn more about ourselves and our connection with Spirit in a beautifully orchestrated reflection of nature through the unveiling, intro/outra-spective lenses of this illuminating medicine.
We are utilising this powerful medicine to clear our vibratory field and invoke through prayer the guidance within ourselves towards a deeper understanding of how to navigate our soul purpose. to release the denseness of everyday life's struggles, breathing into the harmonious vibration with the Earth and being deeply recalibrated and realigned.
Wachuma knows our original divine human geometry and finds the shapes and patterns within our energy body that are not in sync with our original blue print. Like a serpent it sheds and dispels the distorted and broken geometry and builds new patterns. The old and outdated patterns, and stories are disrupted by this new matrix aligning us with the higher 12D templates of our original soul blue print.
Medicine of the Jaguar
Your soul is wanting to live its purpose, but your 3d personality self is deeply afraid of losing control, we play it safe and fit ourselves inside the box to fit in and be excepted, but this makes us deeply ill and exhausted.
In the direction of the jaguar we are confronting the ways in which we have suppressed our creative impulses. We evaluate the ways you are divided against ourselves and how to close that breach. The Jaguar supports you to explore the untamed aspect of you that is not afraid and had overcome its fear of death. The part of you that is seeking the adventure and thats able to transform the darkness into the keys of liberation.

In the direction on the West, Direction of the Jaguar, we work with the medicine of Sinanga. When the eyes become clouded, when energy becomes stagnant, or when one’s inner direction feels lost, healers turn to Sananga. Sananga is a flower medicine from the Amazon Jungle that clears both physical and spiritual sight. It is dropped into the eyes to dissolves energetic congestion, awakens the third eye, and restores focus—bringing the spirit back into alignment with clarity and direction.

Medicine of the Hummingbird
We all have a calling or a gift that nobody else has, and your life is the discovery, uncovering and birthing of this unique gift. The soul seeks greater wisdom, expansion and growth and our soul seeks to rip us away from the blind and faithful following of what the world promises to make us happy and make us fulfilled.
Through this day, we are able to exit the first mountain of this empty voided waste land and enter the second and eternal mountain that guides us back to infinity, back to the garden of Eden, to drink from the sweet nectar of life.
When the first mountain crumbles, it’s a blessing in disguise, when chaos hits, it’s actually the doorway to our freedom. The Medicine of the Hummingbird guides us to live directly from the soul and not from the pretence of the ego of self that is only motivated by survival and fear.
Working with Hápe
In the direction of the Hummingbird we conclude our journey with the medicine of Hape. It is applied through the nostrils using an applicator (Kuripe or Tepi) in prayer, meditation, and ceremony. It is used for deep connection to the plants, animal kingdoms and all of Mother Nature. This healing snuff has the ability to cleanse the mind, purify the thoughts, bring clarity, spiritual alignment with your new vision.
Tobacco when used sacredly is a plant that brings us back to our bodies and supports us to be present and touch nature. You are able to ground your vision in the new mountain and taking everything you have received with you as you return home to this new reality that honours this new vision.

A vision quest is a powerful process that involves imbibing the medicine, spending time in solitude in nature and includes fasting and following certain food diet. Vision quests have been undertaken by people in diverse cultures for millennia and are a profoundly important practice that enables us to slow down so that we can actually feel the connection between our inner and outer nature.
This journey is going to be incredibly rich, empowering & never before experienced teachings of earth reconnection and animistic wisdom handed down by the indigenous people.
We will do pre shamanic work to prepare the mind, body and psyche through feminine yoga, Cacao shamanic journey work, drumming, working with the Sacred Fire & connecting with the pulse & vibration of the Earth. By deeply communing with her, we awaken the primordial wisdom that has been lost to us.
We will go into ritual practices & animistic principles that help us to communicate with the divine mother & the spirit of nature to invoke healing, clear ancestral fears and awaken our spiritual gifts.
Working with Huachuma
Most people come to Huachuma seeking profound healing, not just at a physical level but at the deepest levels of spirit, which Amazonian shamans say can easily become sick or distorted.
Huachuma‘s most important function, therefore, is to restore balance and create alignment within an individual’s spirit, resulting in higher levels of clarity and wellness.
The ceremony consists of: creating Sacred Space; imbibing the brew and then sitting or lying down in your sacred spot in nature to experience the full effects of the journey. Both physical healing and spiritual healing are integral parts of the Huachuma ceremony, which are direct powerful gifts from the Plant Spirits.
While everyone's experience of Huachuma varies and is always unique, there are commonalities reported common features within the process that include:

We will be also working with both Tobacco and Sinanga as our Master Plants. Tobacco is a very powerful masculine plant teacher that can help to strengthen will, focus, connection in general. It is a plant Spirit that enjoys communicating and teaching, but also has a powerful healing part as well.
Huachuma Ceremonies are held during the Master Plant Dieta in order to consolidate the learnings and also to create an even more pristine environment in terms of the human body so that the plant can flourish.
Food during a plant diet
Being on a plant diet is a lot about purifying and becoming receptive in order to connect with the consciousness of the master plant we are seeking to connect with. One way to think about this is to consider our body as the environment where the plant's energy can grow and flourish. Accordingly, the food we take in has to be much simpler and purer than in normal, everyday life, which means 3 days before the retreat reduce salt, radically reduce sugar, no oils. This food regime purifies your system, makes you more sensitive energetically, and enables both the Master plant and the medicine to connect better and do deep healing work.

The fee includes facilitator costs, all master plants, ceremonies, teachings and activities.
The fee does not include accommodation & that ranges from R999 per night for private single lodging and R 500 a night if sharing a cottage with other sisters.
R 2 888 is a the booking fee/ deposit secures your place, there after follow by two more instalments of R 3556 each. Fee can be payed in 3 instalments.

A Unique Medicine Experience with Gogo Sophia
Gogo Sophia creates a wellness service that is a holistic and integrative journey towards self-discovery and awakening to healing on a multidimensional level.
The Pre-shamanic coaching & healing sessions serve as a way to create a solid foundation for a powerful medicine journey. When working with plant medicine, it is really crucial that one has a holistic approach to the experience to receive the full benefit. It is not enough to just enter a ceremony without the relevant preparation, cleansing and briefing. What is also important is the integration journey afterwards that really supports you to weave your experience back to your day to day.
Creating Sacred Space; imbibing the medicine, meditation, breath work, prayer, dance and then eventually lying down to experience the full effects of are all the ways that a holistic & intergrative experience is being catered for you.
Both physical healing and spiritual healing are integral parts of the Wachuma ceremony, which are supported by the singing of sacred songs called Icaros, which hold the space and direct the healing, and which are direct powerful gifts from the Plant Spirits.
